  1. Imai needs to be priority 1A , 1B , 1C , the Cubs remaining available payroll needs to be held back until the Imai decision is made , Shaw is fine at 3B , Cubs have already seen His floor and He will only get better and is cheap

  2. I like your baseball channel the best for the Cubs. I mean, you are the best and most knowledgeable. You have the passion I don’t know necessary agree of everything that you say but you are in a class all by yourself. No one can touch you.

  3. To all the Justin Fiel…er, Matt Shaw fans, please wake up. The Cubs are currently in their window of contention, for how long nobody knows. They don't have time to develop young players into big league starters anymore. Shaw is basically a utility infielder right now. They need more pop in the lineup, and they need more veteran players with playoff experience. Bregman fills all of those boxes. His power will make a difference in the lineup.

  4. I can see the Cubs looking to Japan getting a third baseman that totally fits the Cubs MO here I’mma see what I’ve said before I don’t think a couple are spend big money. I don’t think they’re gonna spend $31 million a year for a third base. They are not gonna go out and do what they did when they won the World Series the last time getting players signing them the big contracts. I probably don’t think that’s ever gonna happen again. I can’t pronounce the guy from Japan’s named or can I spell it LOL but I think this is something that the Cubs are probably would do if it’s $30 million a more year I don’t think the Cubs would sign them. It’s got that information from you. They do it for less money. It’s a two year deal so we’re not locked in long-term if they do it to your deal I just don’t see it happen now that I’m looking at it. it’s not that the Cubs don’t have the resources they do. They just don’t want to spend it. I can see them doing it at $25 million a year and a two year contract. I can see them doing a one year $30 million deal.

  5. The Cubs and the Cardinals are the only 2 teams in the NL central who have not improved as a team this offseason. Ricketts and Jed Hoyer need to stop penny pinching and begin greedy before we end up in last place next season.
