Travis Kelce’s final Chiefs home game? His last play Thursday tells us something

  1. I might get some hate for this but can we keep Kelce and get rid of Jones? lol, asking for a friend.

  2. Jason retired on an off year and I’m sure they’ve talked about what that felt like. Idk, I think Travis would hate this being his last season.

  3. My personal opinion, I think he’s done. But at the same time, I think he has the personality type where he wants to surprise people, especially critics, so I’m 50/50 at this point.

At the end of the day it’ll come down to what his fam is saying and what Mahomes, Reid and, let’s be real, what Swift is yapping in his ear.

His body will also be yelling at him and that’s the ‘voice’ that should have the most persuasion.

I hope he comes back though. The Chiefs without Kelce just isn’t right, but all good things must come to an end.

  4. He’s like less than 100 yards away from second place in all time tight end yardage. Who wouldn’t come back for a couple of games just to get that?

  5. Starting to lean more into Nick Wright’s take on it…

He said Travis will “semi-retire” and see how things go with Patrick’s knee and season next year, then if things going well come back and finish off the season.

  6. Why are some of you so adamant he come back until he reaches a point of embarrassment? He’s had a very solid season statistically he can go out on, and is still a 3x SB winner.

I’m sure Jason not going out with the storybook ending first helps soften the blow too – that life will be ok.

His better move is to stay in shape and ready in the off chance we look to be a wagon next year and he rejoin late.
