Mark and his data. Game one of the Playoffs he’s gonna have fucking Youngblood clamping up Wemby somehow.
Almost as if he coached a championship team. Who woulda thunk.
Ok so he’s guessing? Not adjusting to oppenents? Hmmm…
Weird . If that’s the case you’d expect better output by game 3 vs game 1. Instead it was the inverse
This answer is fine the first two games but after losing to them twice in a row in such a short time span, it would have been nice to see a significant adjustment in the rotation for game 3.
Using Mark’s same argument, wouldn’t we have learned more?
I get it, but that’s a bad approach. The NBA Cup clearly meant something to our guys, and Mark owed it to them and to the fans to make his best possible effort to win. He’s saying here that he didn’t do that for the sake of development. That’s a bad choice. There’s also a psychological disadvantage that comes with losing a regular season series to a rival. I’m all for development, but this takes it too far.
I thought his rotations were fine yesterday. The lineups out there honestly made sense. Execution and shot making just freaking sucked.
I think we’ll see more zone against the Spurs. Not a traditional zone but something of zone/man hybrid to make the Spurs pause and think. Right now the reads for them are just too easy and they are in constant attack mode.
Offensively, the scheme is fine but this team just forgets ball movement against tougher defenses or is reluctant to shoot semi-contested catch and shoot 3s. Dub and Chet also just need to be better. Especially Chet. He’s a 7 footer that struggles to get his shot off. I’m hoping Ajay can unlock the offense during cold stretches. The rest of the team just needs to shoot 33-34% from 3.
