He was permitted to get into a rhythm. He’s a rhythm shooter and scorer. People have this skewed view of him as a 3pt specialist so when they see him bricking spot opportunities or a pull up middy they lose it. He only gets like 5 shots per game when he should be getting 12 to really get the benefits of his offensive game.

I’m more worried about Quickley. Many of his shots aren’t even close. He looks like he’s throwing the ball instead of aiming it.
Gradey is just a scrub that we don’t have to play often. He still has time to become good.

From watching Grady it appears he is actually a great swing man shooter. He needs freedom to play. A tight restrictive system works against him. Free flow, set up screens, quick moves to t he paint and, for the love of all that is great balling, stop him shooting threes!

the thing with dick is that it has always been is defense thats AWFULL and bad defense means no gametime and no shots.

His still at the start of his 3rd year, still quite young and some players take longer to develop. That being said I’m not against him getting some g league time to get his confidence back. He’s hurting the team more than helping a lot of nights

Gradey is the classic guard from college who can’t translate to the NBA level because his playstyle can’t scale down and his defense sucks.
Multiple scouts saw this and it’s why he fell in the draft. I’m not at the pick since it was in crapshoot range anyway but it is what it is.
It’s all mental. He’s a great player. Coaches, teammates, everyone is rooting for him. He’ll turn it around guaranteed. It’s just that most sports fans have never played the sport and felt the ups and downs, or had to overcome crushing self doubt. I believe in the kid.
