Only reason Celtics are good is bc Aigne fleeced the fucking Nets and now we have to deal with Brown and Tatum (both Nets picks) for 15 years (already been a decade but we weren’t competitive the first half their careers)
Then all the reports of “when not if” the Knicks get Donovan Mitchell – which came out after we already signed Brunson.
Should have a Spida and Brunson backcourt rn
Aigne missed the playoffs the year after the trade and then made it every year since
Trade was after 2013 when we eliminated Celtics and Celtics only missed 2014 playoffs
2017/2018/2020/2023 ECFs and 2022/2024 Finals
Put that into perspective Jazz missed playoffs 2023, 2024, 2025. If they had same success as Celtics with trade outcome, they’d be in ECF this year and already have their Jaylen Brown.
They’d be pushing ECF next year and 2 years after w 2 All-Stars in early 20s
Something tells me Aigne struck lightning and trying to recapture it but can’t
And bc Nets got so embarrassed they think they need to pull it off on another team but clearly Jazz haven’t been as lucky bc Aigne’s once in a lifetime trade has yet to be replicated (I guess OKC/SGA trade but that’s about it in the near 15 years since the trade)

Pistons have one of the easiest strengths in the NBA. You know who also does? OKC. Ours hasn’t been too bad either but we’re about to have a tough stretch coming up.
