My second team is LIONS I have always rooted for them, just get kind of metal when we play each other… ha ha i dont want either to lose. Viks D was pissing me off yesterday.   16. In the last 15 16 years the nfc champ has come from the nfc west. But the eastern media called for Seattle to win 7.5 games Rams to win 11 49ers to win 10 I think.
    It IS the MOST competitive division in the NFL. Period.

    I DID look it up and I want to say thanks for the support. You're right, when it comes to free agency and/or media coverage Seattle might as well be 'SE Alaska'.
    At the trade deadline, I was very happy to pick up Shaheed but I also wanted help for the Tackle positions as well. Your depth chart *never* has enough of those guys, especially with a defense heavy playbook like the 'Hawks. have.
    And let me also say that I'm sorry for how the Lions season ended up, especially after your season last year and the excellent start on this one. The N-North is very much like the N-West… it's a better season for everybody if there is real competition. OTOH, while I'm not a Bears fan, everybody outside the N-North thinks that it's been a Hell of a long time since they've even been competitive much less division leaders. But we also feel your pain about having to put up with insufferable Bears fans, so there is that too 😆

  18. Panthers dont HAVE to beat the seahawks, if TB wins it doesnt matter if the Panthers win or lose to seattle they will have to beat TB again the next week to move on regardless.

  19. Dan campbell is single handedly the reason we all go for it on 4th now. It literally blew everyone away his first year when he just went for it anytime they were in positive field. Bow everyone does it. Mcvay was doing it every 4th in the first quarter against the Seahawks. This is a Dan Campbell thing. Lol. But im not gunna lie i dont hate it. Lol

  21. I'd like to see Seattle get their running game going early with some scoring and not wait for the second half of every game to do it. Yeah, we all love the big comeback wins but not every game. Darnold seems to do his best work with play option runs which the running game opens up those passing options which he is good at. Go Hawks!

  23. My prediction heading into this season was Mike Macdonald would lead this team to multiple Super Bowls during his tenure as head coach. And he’s in lock-step with John Schneider, GM for Seattle. Pete Carroll wasn’t. There were differences of opinion and Pete had so much say in roster building that I think it was a detriment to the team after the LOB years. Mike is a leader of men, knows how to hold guys accountable and teaching them to hold each other accountable and he and John know what makes a good team and prioritizes “their guys” that fit the culture just as much as they fit athletically. That’s a big deal because you can get 5th round draft talent to perform at 2nd round talent levels when you have dudes bought in and working on their craft with great focus.

    Having said all of that, I figured they were good for 11 wins this year. I didn’t expect them to be the class of the NFC heading into the end of the regular season.

  33. I have tickets to the Hawks Wild Card game… Mixed feelings over here. That said I DO hope they to get that bye. it will just be another 6 months before that refund (if ever) happens

  34. That positional versatility in backup offensive lineman is so important from a salary cap standpoint. If you can pay one person to play multiple roles effectively, that frees up money to use elsewhere.

  35. We only need to win one game to get the home field advantage. We have to do it twice, but that's how I'm looking at it. This is a Seahawks team that can very much win one game in a vacuum against any team in the NFL. One week, one game at a time. This Sunday, we need to win one game against the Panthers, and let's not overlook them. Next Sunday, we need to win one game against the Niners. That's all.

    Now let's go kick the shit out of the Panthers. Things I would like to see offensively: Darnold with 250+ passing yards, 2 TDs, and no picks. K9 with 80+ rush yards, 30ish passing yards, and a TD. JSN with 100+ receiving yards and a TD. (Who am I kidding. Let's see JSN go for 200, get him back to having that buffer over Puka.)
