   It is time to admit 2026 must start a complete team rebuild, everybody is potentially on the block. Trade every player with big contracts you can now!

12. Defense as a whole was truly amazing this season if you consider how predictable and pedestrian the offense was. I try to watch the games with my dad. My poor dad rants over and over “Mahomes needs glasses.” I kept trying to explain that it isn’t on Mahomes. It’s absolutely abysmal play calling by the OC. I got it a few years ago. You lost your big play threat. Defensive coordinators are making you nickel and dime your way down the field with two high safeties. Unfortunately, Defensive coordinators are paid lots of money to figure out your scheme. And guess what……. THEY FIGURED IT OUT! Mahomes was having to play MVP caliber every single play just to keep the chiefs competitive for two years. The poor man deserves a better OC. It only truly irritates me because we have deep threats again. However, we can’t seem to draw up plays to get them open looks. When you have someone like Josh Allen constantly throwing downfield to wide open receivers nowhere near the caliber of ours…… I’m shocked they didn’t fire the OC already.

    He has now crapped the bed in the last minutes of the games(Jags and Broncos) the same amount as games he showed up(Raiders and Texans)

39. I’m not mad, this game would have made 10 new grey hairs on my head if it was for getting into the playoffs. But once I told myself ‘calm down, better draft spot’ I literally just relaxed back in my chair and my anxiety wasn’t no where to be found. It honestly was the best loss I’ve been a part of watching with the family
