The Yankees seem to really want Cody Bellinger to return. But why hasn’t he already? Could they pivot soon? Let me know what you think.

Spencer Jones is a strikeout machine . Don't want him here.
Release Grisham? He is going to hit 40 plus homeruns this season. The guy is a star.
hal not making money high payroll high luxiury tax..
Whoever they wind up with will not be able to get in a groove because lineup changes daily. JD will only play LF maybe twice a week. The only player that gets to play everyday is Volpe.
judge contract has been a bargain judge should be worth 200 million more then what his contract is..
The problem is.. The Yanks made Bellinger their top choice.. meaning as a Scott Boras client we wait… Boras has probably not even started taking offers yet.. he like the market to simmer nearly to a boil before he take offers… Personally, I would give them an offer on Monday, deadline for response by thursday then very publicly court Tucker… just to send a message… not going to play scott's games. and the only reason to extend the deadline, counter offer… no answer or a reject and sign Tucker… and tell scott (indirectly), you play your games, we'll sign players who will help in the mean time…
If Belli really wants to come back, itโs time for him to compromise and sign 6-year or something
Iโm starting to think Bellinger will not be worth all this waiting before doing something to fix team problems
I would bring up Spencer Jones and Lombard now
This must have been what the CBS years were like.
Just think about it for a second. We're sitting here, waiting at the edge of our seats to see if the Yankees will sign Bellinger… who played on the Yankees last year. This isn't a piece to make the Yankees better than last year, this is to keep the same dysfunctional lineup.
Rumors is that Imai wants number 1 starter money.
Cody will sign a 7 year contract of 245.000 million.
Just get it done or stop chatting about it,
put up or move out of the way of progress.
Dominguez wasnโt exclusively hitting from the right side in winter ball I was watching majority of those games he was on the left side more than he was on the right he was struggling bad on both sides
Mo worries,Rizzo and Verdugo resigning and Stroman in talks. Also ,Volpe looks like he'll be ready for opening day after vacationing in Somalia
Get Hayes and sign Imai and play ball
I agree quit signing these 10 to 12 contracts
Cody Bellingher should not get more then a 5 year Contract , I would love to see Cody back, but he is bascially Juan Soto Part 2 ….if Cody really wanted to be a Yankee, he would have already signed with the Yankees.,,,,,Like Juan Cody is all about the Money and who Pays him the most ! As much as I wouuld love to see him back, Let Him Go!
On Tucker…he is not a 30 Million Dollar Baseball Player, not even Close…what he is, is a very good MLB Player.
Let the Yanks bring up Spencer Jones ande play him everyday in Left Field…he is a Far Better Outfielder then the
Martian and may even be a better hitter….let Dominguez Play a full Season in AAA and work on his Fielding after all he is only 22 Yrs old.
I would not sign Kyle Tucker I was just sign Cody Bellinger
Bellinger to Mets, Tucker to LA to cement their threepeat in 2026. Iโm calling it.
Same. Old. Crap. Dud. My. God
I want Belli even over tucker but NOT 7 years c'mom
The elephant that has not yet left the room is how serious the payroll issue is. If the Yankees have 280 m committed it's a real problem and the lack of any significant moves may simply be related to holding the line. Unsettling is an accurate description but the sobering truth is that the Yankees may be looking for the answers to come from within as opposed to outside. That would mean that they're banking on a lot of things going right and a watered down wild card system to keep things interesting.
What I think is, Bellinger, Grisham and even Judge had peak offensive seasons. The Yankees should be trying to be better than last year. Even if they re-sign Bellinger, they are running it back a year older I think I'm disappointed. Bregman+Tucker would be a clear improvement. The Dodgers are a runaway freight train right now. George is rolling over/
Man f**k Cody Bellinger. He's not going to get better at this point. Yanks need some arms and some young guns. Bo Bichette, Kyle Tucker, Alex Bergman, hell I'll take a hungry young guy that can get on base. Make some trades. At this point Cody doesn't really want to be a Yankee and thats okay, lets move on. "F" em life goes on, next!
Me when the stankees lose both kyle tucker and that clown cody bellinger to other teams in free agency: ๐๐ FIRE BOONE, FIRE CASHMAN, AND STEINBRENNER SELL THE DAMN TEAM TO A BILLION THAT'S ACTUALLY COMPETENT BECAUSE HE AIN'T A COMPETENT TEAM OWNER.
If they get Bellinger, the Yankees are running back the same team, just a year older.
