Hilarious that someone posting facts about us winning lots of close games over bad teams is harsh disrespect
We had a goal: get the easy win while running the clock as much as possible and getting out of there without injuries. Mission accomplished. No one cares about the Chiefs, we’re looking ahead to the real teams we need to beat.

I don’t mind. I want the sports media pissed off about the Broncos success. I want them to be mad about Nix. I actually PREFER it.

Broncos are 3-1 in their last 4 games while giving up 22.5 ppg and our defense is apparently not good anymore.

None of the talking TV bobbleheads had us being this successful and it’s irritating them how wrong they were.
13-3, division and #1 seed in play, Nix looking like “the guy,” while still paying Russ his final pile of money? Sign me the fuck up.
This and the second Raiders game time it felt like we won by just strangling the clock to death. It didn’t even really feel like we were playing the other team, we were playing the clock.
It’s not fun, it’s not pretty. It makes for horrendous stat lines. It’s a style that punishes mistakes and probably doesn’t work against an explosive offense. But both those games felt like inevitable Broncos wins. Just mercilessly grinding the other team to death with short gain after short gain and never leaving their offense on the field long enough for them to get any rhythm going or give the defense a break.
Without that short field interception, we win that game 27-6. That’s how much the game plan amplifies mistakes.
Who cares. Ever year some dumshit sports yakker wants to put an asterisk by the current champion.
Broncos didnt have the respect in 2015 either. Exact same dribble from the media as it was 10 years ago.
I’m a Broncos stan through and through but I don’t blame all the haters for doubting us. I really think our best football is still to come this year.

This is what comes with being a better team than the Chiefs for a season. WE ARE IN YEAR 2 OF TURNING THINGS AROUND…Instead of hearing “this franchise is trending upwards” all we hear instead “Are they ready to win a SB? Are they ready to dethrone the Chiefs in The AFCW?”
Im just glad this team goes out and plays regardless of the outside pressure they try to put on them.
Scoring 20 points against a top 5 defense isn’t bad.
My goal remains the same as going into this season: win a playoff game.
Are we an amazing team? I’d say no. Are we consistent? No. Do we play down to the competition? Yes. Do we pass the neutral fan eye test? Nope.
But are we clutch? Yup. Always in the game? Yes Resilient? Yes. Is our pass rush great? Yes. Overachieving on the season? Very much, yes.
If we can get Bo some quality weapons on offense, things are going to keep getting better.
Dissing Broncos win is also dissing Andy Reid, who I thought had a respectable game plan with second string players and they offered good opposition.

I’m not sure if it really matters, but sometimes watching the games it feels as if we are not a good team. Yeah we have some wins, but it doesn’t feel like we are ever in the lead, and we are constantly playing down to our competitors. And it doesn’t feel like we ever dominate the game. Regardless of the ref calls, the Chiefs Dynasty just looked like they would manhandle the other team sometimes, which is something Denver right now seems to lack. Which the offense had in 2012, and the defense had in 2015.
Who cares, let em say we’re the worst Super Bowl champs ever come mid February, we’d all be thrilled lol

It’s insane, Chiefs fans are complaining that the Broncos didn’t beat their team bad enough. What kind of fan wants their team to lose badly, 3rd string QB notwithstanding? Crazy times. FUKC.
I’d take us winning like this if it gives us the grit to fight and win a close Super Bowl over the record breaking offense year we blew everyone out and then got utterly fucking embarrassed in the Super Bowl. Clearly large victory margins don’t do shit for you. One of the greatest offenses ever fielded but we don’t bring them up much because of how it ended. So let the haters hate and keep winning.
