If Steph Curry averages 25 points while playing at least 70 games this season and next, he will gain at least 3,000 points and pass Shaq to break the top 10 at 29,000 points. At the pace, he’s on, this is very doable (especially if he gets that Nike deal 👀)

Interestingly, Steph Curry is already top 10 in all time scoring not counting free throws despite being the most efficient free throw shooter ever
Wonder where KD ends up
Fat Harden has too many points. Not a Hall of Fame player.
Steph would already be top 10 if not for all the injuries seasons~
Imagine if he didn’t get injured that early in his career too. 🐐
Would be crazy if he passed Shaq!
Honestly Curry barring any major injury could still play in the NBA at 40 years old in 2027/28 and beyond even well into his early 40s too.
Will Curry still be playing at an all star level and make any All NBA teams by then? Probably not. But at age 37 years old right now for this 2025/26 NBA season Curry is still shooting as efficiently as he did compared to most of his NBA career including a lot of his peak seasons in particular a couple of seasons where he won an NBA title. Not hard to believe Curry couldn’t play at the very least as a very high end role player who could still shoot above average on 3s during the latter part of this decade.
Curry in his 17th NBA season :
* 58.7% eFG% currently ranks 7th in his career ahead of Curry’s 2016/17 and 2021/22 seasons
* 63.7% TS% also ranks 7th in his career again ahead of Curry’s 2016/17 and 2021/22 seasons
* 58.9% 2 PT FG % ranks 3rd in his career
* 6.6 Offensive Box +/- ranks 8th in his career
* 6.2 Box +/= ranks 10th in his career
The question for Curry is not could he still play at a relatively high level 3 or 4 years from now but will he want to play in the league if he’s not at the very top of the sport as he currently is as Curry is still a top 10 caliber NBA player right now.
* 4th in Offensive Box +/- (6.6)
* 5th in Box +/- (6.2)
* 9th in PPG (28.4)
* 9th in VORP (1.4)
* 11th in PER (23.0)
Would Curry still want to play if he’s only a top 25-30 caliber of player and especially if he’s not playing for a true contender too. Which could probably be the biggest factor in whether or not Curry would want to play another 2, 3, or 4 seasons specifically with this Warriors franchise after his current contract ends after the 2026/27 season.
No doubt in my mind that if Curry barring no major health set backs or issues going forward plays into his 40s which he realistically could. That Curry would possibly finish as high as the top 5 or top 6 on the all time scoring list.
While being 6 ft 2
The most efficient player in NBA history
Shout out the “Active players are in all caps” into “LeBRON” combo for both logical reason lol
why are some names on capital while the majority arent?
Hope so.
However, I wouldn’t take the rest of this year or next year for granted – at his age. Most players are washed up at 33.
Harden and KD already top 10 😳
