  1. Kats minutes don’t change because he takes himself out the game I love the big bodega he so smart.

  2. Almost like it was the most obvious thing ever that Thibs did to every team he coached on lol

  3. it wasn’t just about running our starters as much as we were, it was also that the bench players weren’t given a fair shake at developing and establishing in-game rhythm. i get we were (and still are) a good team who didn’t want to throw games away for the sake of experimentation, but clearly we didn’t need sacrifice one for the other.

  4. I think it has been the big change. Everyone is doing better. The lower minutes makes the time better. Mikal can’t miss. He was the biggest Thibs hater. Maybe Hart is a little salty. I’m sure he liked being LeBron. :0

  5. so tired of agendas and narratives. total minutes makes no sense. And Thibs also didn’t have Mitch, Shamet or Clarkson the 1st 30 games. I’m sure the MPG would be more or less the same if you took those 3 away from Brown. See how quick Brown went to 8-9 rotation and benched Kolek early on? Brown has done a good job but he was dealt a much better hand. Kolek only played when Deuce AND Shamet both went down. And yea he took advantage this time, he was probably much more ready as a 2nd year player.

  6. Even for Beer to post this without taking into account games missed is so blatantly misleading.

  7. All Thibs lovers can go kick rocks. Thibs sucked as a coach. He’ll always coach his players into the ground.

  8. I’m gonna be that guy. This is mostly because the guys have actually missed games at this point of the season vs last season I

  9. Consecutive minutes and template coaching is what we needed to get rid of. Love Thibs but he had to go and better do it too soon than too late.

If you watch every single game every season, you know what I’m talking about.

If not, I could’ve closed my eyes any point last season and if you told me the quarter and time remaining I’d tell you exactly who’s on the court.

It’s part of Thibs philosophy and it’s fantastic for bad teams because it provides them consistency and gets the best guys on the court for long stretches at a time.

But for teams with title aspirations, you need creativity in today’s NBA.

  10. I wasn’t overly concerned with high minutes other than OG.

The big issue was thibs playing guys when they had no business being out there.

Like the game would be over either way and KAT would still be on the floor with a bum knee.

    That shit was criminal.
