Nick Sirianni has made the playoffs all five seasons as a Head Coach. Of his three coordinators who were hired as Head Coaches (Steichen, Gannon, Moore), none have made the playoffs in a combined seven seasons.

  1. Steichen can def get em in the playoffs, Moore too if given the right situation. Gannon still ass.

  2. Acting like we wouldn’t be ecstatic if Stiechen gets fired and we bring him back. He got hosed by Ballard’s shitty roster-building. Stiechen had Daniel Jones 7-1 this year!

  3. Guys go where they are needed. It takes time to turn a shit show into the greatest show on turf. Sirianni came in only about a year removed from the first sb win… he inherited legends. not even dougie p in Jax. We all know how this works. You’re either naive or kinda dumb for even making a comparison like this.

  4. I mean, having an owner that isn’t cheap as well as a GM that builds the most elite roster certainly helps too.

  5. Usually if you’re a coordinator getting hired as a head coach it’s because the team hiring you was bad enough to fire their head coach

  6. Fuck Gannon. A plague on every team he coaches. May they experience a playoff famine that would make the Jets feel ashamed.

  7. Moore definitely was brought in with a couple of years to fix that roster but I do feel it speaks on what Nick’s coaching skills are best at. I think he is a great “CEO” coach but fixing issues isn’t one of his strong suits and we all know who built our roster. I would not look at a coach under him to rebuild a team from the ground up or fix big dysfunctional issues.

  8. Early in the season we were all envying the Lions offense after like week 5 lol.

Turns out brain drain is fuckin REAL. Through 5 coordinators in five years we still manage to make the playoffs and get to two Super Bowls with Jalen and Nick.

If we can get a just above average OC or find a Josh McDaniels type it’ll be a great run

  9. Yeah and sirianni has a stacked roster year after year with the best gm in the league. Imagine what Steichen can do with this team.

  10. To be fair, many coordinators who get a head coaching job usually do so with a team that’s not exactly playoff caliber

  11. How many of them got to be the head coach of a team owned by Jeffrey Lurie and with a football operations department run by Howie Roseman?
