  1. The four points missed by Dicker might’ve been the margin of the game but don’t forget the Texans were in field goal range when they ran out the clock to close the game.

  2. As a fan of both of these teams, I have to say the ton of this analysis is trash. Acting like the Texas lost the game, even though they won and won the game with two back up tackles just like the Chargers were dealing with.

  3. It’s sad that you missed talking about Texans defense and all the sacks we had. When you win a critical game, you would think you would recognize how Texans won the game, than the losing teams problems and how they could have won.

  4. These commentators want to keep making excuses for the chargers!! They lost deal with it can’t give the Texans flowers at all want to keep talking about cj playing bad all I see is a L for the chargers

  5. I love how the talking heads are worried about the offense…like it’s something new. When all of Houston does not care anymore as the defense will carry

  6. Hear me out on this thought exercise: 20 game regular season but no individual player gets to play more than 16 (excluding kicker and punter). Roster size and salary cap get expanded to whatever levels are necessary to have the depth to cover that change. You go into the season knowing your back up QB and back up every other position is going to play atleast 4 because each starter will miss 4 (injured or otherwise). Back up QBs are then worth retaining, training and developing and giving reps to get them ready, because you know you need them atleast 4 games. I know people will hate the idea that their starters aren't playing every week (there would need to be advanced disclosures of when starters will sit for fantasy and gambling), and I'm not saying I'd be happy with it either, my only point is there is a way to balance schedule with player safety in an expanded schedule.

  7. CJ Stroud is the only QB in the league that gets no praise when he plays well and then shit on for having a subpar game, when it rarely ever happens. The dude never has had a turnover problem, despite the offensive line, lack of a consistent run game (no Mixon), and the receivers being 2/3rds rookies or new guys. New coordinator and the guy is 24. You’re acting like he threw the game away. Did he make bad mistakes? Yes. But every QB does it. He just did it on national television. When Josh Allen or Lamar have bad games do we question them? Lmfao yall suck their tits. Gtfo of here. Yes, CJ needs to take care of the football. Yes he needs to be consistent. But it’s not ALL him. Once again, there’s so much on offense that’s wrong. Nothing is ever ALL working for us. Always something they’re missing. One game it’s the o-line and penalties, the next it’s the run game being ass and the receivers or the playcalling being suspect, the next stroud is missing easy throws. They JUST need to be consistently top 16 in the league and take care the ball to win the Super Bowl. The defense is gonna do their job. The special teams will do their job. No matter what, if they can keep the guys they have on defense AND add to the offense, they’re gonna be contenders for years to come.

  8. All of the prior 6 times that teams had made the playoffs after an 0-3 (or worse) start had played against a 4th place schedule, (besides the 1998 Bills, they played a 3rd place schedule and made the playoffs after an 0-3 start) the 2025 Texans are the only team in NFL history to make the playoffs after starting off 0-3 while facing a first place schedule.
