  1. We couldn’t exit our own zone. Constant turnovers and failures to clear gave the Canes the momentum all night. And it’s not just about flipping the puck out, it’s about skating out with possession, through the neutral zone, and into the offensive zone. Can’t flip the puck into center ice and pray every single time. Shake it off and take some spark into tomorrow boys.

  2. Thoroughly dominated tonight. Gibson and some missed open nets were the only reasons this game didn’t end 10-2. Chance to respond right away tomorrow against a leafs team which appears to be heating up a bit. LGRW

  3. Wings rarely play well in Carolina, so this isn't new. They're just faster and the Wings never cope with a fast forechecking team. It's kinda crazy the Canes don't go further in the Play-Offs with the way they play and their roster. Gibson was really good tonight. Wings were obviously lucky to be as close as they were at one point, but move on and play better Tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good Christmas and if you don't celebrate it, I hope you at least had a good holiday.

  4. This game is over; control what you can tomorrow and get at the Leafs early. We all want that LFR episode to be a loss for Steve’s Maple Leafs (😂 sorry Steve). Hope y’all had a great break and got some rest. LGRW!

  5. Larkin tonight was the reason Aziz comments what he does. Mindless play trying to exit the zone leads directly to a goal down 4-2 and game is basically over. He was flailing all over the place trying to draw penalties. Can’t have that from your captain, I believe he’ll get back to normal.

  6. Seems a lot of people are more happy when they have something to complain about, which sounds like a whining spoiled kid. The Wings got beat, not as bad as they should have been, cause if not for Gibson the score could have been much worse. Where are we in the standings, cause you gripe like we're in last place.
And there are bigger problems to be pissy about… like this goofball 'ariz'. Everybody needs to continuously 'report' him so they put an end to his childish nonsense.

  7. Wings 5v5 goals in Patrick Kane's last 7 games:

    4, 2, 3, 3, 4, 1, 3

Wings 5v5 goals in 6 games since Kane went out:

    1, 0, 4, 1, 1, 1

They won 20-11 at 5v5 in Kane's last 7 games.

They are losing 8-15 at 5v5 in 6 games since Kane went out.

Emmitt Finnie at 5v5, last 12 games

    1g/0a/1pt -7 (2 GF, 9 GA w him on the ice at 5v5)

  9. Pathetic excuse of a stupid loss you idiots! Not that I hate back to back games, but you need to smarten up and get those arrogant Maple Leafs off of my hate list! They don’t deserve to be on it for winning against the Senators.

  10. To me, Carolina was a better team than Dallas. I was particularly impressed by how little space they give and the speed of their transitions. Dallas, imo, gave more space and was a bit slower.

  11. Too much standing around in the offensive zone, and too much chasing the puck in the d zone. Can't be weak on clears, no d to d movement, this isn't about size or lack there of, its just dont play stupid and the wings played stupid tonight plain and simple.
