If Blake Fisher turns it around. Caserio might need a statue

  1. He flashed a lot as a rookie. Turns out good coaching can help develop young players with potential into good ones 🤷

The offensive coaching can’t call a good game flow but they’re getting these kids up to speed. Long term, that will pay dividends.

  2. I think this is more of a testament to how great the OL coach has been this year. Most players from last year have been showing great improvement this year. We should still draft a C or G but yeah, I have high hopes

  3. Unrelated but how do they judge a play like when Mack was unblocked and hit marks as soon as he got the ball?

Is it a missed block if no one even tried?

  4. Guess his jumbo set reps gives him confidence and lets him develop (for those in this sub, this is possible)

  5. Maybe a little time on and off the field as the sixth man was what he needed, maybe being able to come off look at stuff then go back on I don’t know

  6. This is not an accurate representation of his play. There were several run plays where he whiffed so hard it led to a TFL. I don’t trust PFF whatsoever.

  7. They were really good against the 4 man pass rush. Blitzes continue to be their Achilles heel.

  8. That sounds good but the eye test shows CJ was under a lot of pressure after the first 2 touchdowns.

Texans still don’t have an answer when the other team sends a blitz. We’re not seeing hot routes as CJ is always running around and we see receivers running longer developing routes.

  9. Not buying it. Too many free rushers yesterday. Bad from CJ and the OL + RB in setting protection

  10. I’m glad Ersery didn’t try to play with a club. It’s very unlikely he’s better with one hand than Fisher healthy. We need Ersery healthy for the Superbowl
