Would love to see more of him in the future

  1. The final thing this bench missed was a legit 3-and-D wing off the bench. It would be huge if we could fill that need internally.

  2. Absolutely – loved his energy and readiness. We’ll DEF see a bunch of him for now as harts out for sure – and brown is a guy who rewards players who are ready and step up when called on. I’m here for it, he looked incredible last nite.

  3. This is my favorite Knicks team since the early 70’s ( hey, I’m old). They’re legit favorites to win the East ( tho i haven’t seen Detroit yet). Love that Brown is developing his bench…certainly where Tibs f’ed up..
Also love that he called out Kat’s rediculous Offensive fouls and he seems to be “hooking” less while driving the last couple of games.
My main concern is defensive lapses, letting teams hang around..giving up too many un-defended 3’s
But I haven’t been this pumped since Pearl and Clyde shared the backcourt!!

  4. At the bare minimum, McCullar can provide depth at “what it is Josh Hart brings to the table”, in specific games where Hart is out.

I don’t think McCullar will ever play when Hart is available.

  5. anyone who paid attention to him in college knew that aside from his injury, he was the most nba-ready guy we got last year (factoring in defense too). last night’s game is what i’ve been expecting from him, but better from 3. i don’t think it was an “amazing” game from him in the sense that he played at or above his ceiling. i think last night is pretty much who he is as a player, and it’s fair to have expectations moving forward if he gets minutes. he really can be a dollar general josh hart if we can’t afford the real thing next contract.

  6. We’re going to need wing depth to thrive the tough stretches of Jan/Feb games; the time to separate pretenders from contenders.

Absolutely deliberate move by MB to give Diawara and McCullars some mins to evaluate.
