  1. Domi horrible on the OT 2 on 1……
Matthews playing a game of HIT THE POST……..
Horrible pass by Hildeby BUT I think that, when the puck was in Detroit's end, the Wings fans at the Leafs' end must have sprayed cooking oil out onto the ice because Hildeby, Maccelli and Matthews all three slipped as Hildeby tried to get it to Matthews…….
Then while Maccelli was doing a lousy job defending by getting skated past by Edvinnson, Matthuseless quit skating and just glided slowly back towards goal when if he'd had his head down with some effort may have helped out Maccelli and knocked the puck away from Edvinnson as he cut across the crease……
I minded less in the 70s and 80s when the Leafs were regularly in the bottom 5 in the standings almost every year because there was zero expectation of them to do better so when they did do better (like knocking out the Islanders in '78) it was a treat to the fans……whereas over the past 10 years or so there has been expectation so all the cumulative failures to reap the success just deflates the fans which is emotionally way worse than supporting a last place team.

  2. Edvinsson showing Mathew’s how to show grit and finish. Both hit by pucks but instead of counting himself out like Matthews he says “the pain in his leg is a long way from the heart” and wins the battle at the end with Matthews then goes down and scores the game winner while Matthews can’t even hustle to a puck and can barely skate lol Matthews better not be captain of USA he ain’t my captain… I’d rather have Larkin lead that team lol
