Chinakhov player card and scouting report from JFresh

  1. I’m just looking at this like the Tomasino trade last year. Maybe he provides a slight boost, but past that, I have pretty low expectations. Hopefully it’s a third or lower being moved.

  2. Of all the deals possible this was one of them. Hope we didn’t give them one of our 2nds

  3. Give him a shot on third line in place of Kouvinen. Tired of hearing about his potential…we need goals.

  4. If they want to try to get more out of him he’s going to need to get time on the first or second line. He’s not a grinder and 3rd and 4th line minutes aren’t going to help him improve.

  5. Promising numbers for a young guy. Hope he gets a real shot.

I’m guessing we might move Mantha at the deadline and hopefully Chinakhov can click either on that line or with Kindel and Rutger

  6. Dude isn’t invested in team defense but has a decent shot. He definitely sounds more like a pens player than cbj. I gotta imagine they see something special considering what they gave up. That feels a little higher than “flyer” price tags. Say what you want about those picks but they could really use some prospect depth, especially defensively.

  7. This is great news for Skinner, it’s what he is used to another weak defensive minded player that can’t score. 👌F’ yeah we goin all the way baby!!!

  8. you cant really get a 2 for taking on Kevin Hayes’ salary and then complain that a 2 is given for this guy.

If a 2 was super duper duper valuable, then they would not have gotten a 2 for taking on Hayes’ salary.

a 2 is a dime, not a quarter. its starting to seem that way anyway.

  9. correct me if i’m wrong, but a 77 is pretty dang good on these cards? not like star or anything, but solid?

  10. So a Phil the thrill Kessel reincarnate? If the support structure is there with his linemates, like Accari that are more defensive minded, might be a nice boost of goals from our bottom 6
