I see the team has a -4 goal differential, is that cause for concern?
In what the heck is going on news, the Sabers have won 9 straight and Alex Lyon has a better save % than both of our goalies.
It kinda sucks the wings don’t play everyday, because everyday I wish there was a game to watch.
The team is fun boys and girls! Fun teams win!
As long as it is not a tie breaker in the standings does it really matter???? Wins matter, reg wins are awesome.

Colorado is on pace to obliterate the 76-77 Canadiens 8 loss record.
Have a good day RedWings fam
I hate snow more than I hate the Senators. And I really hate the Senators.
There should be a selke equivalent award for defensemen
New red wings fan here. Where do i start in order to learn about the red wings and their history
I wish it was game day today. I’m so bored.
Surprising stat of the morning: ASP is -17 on the season. Now, obviously +/- is a bit of a busted stat and really only gets more meaningful over large sample sizes, but I hadn’t realized he was leading the team in the negative department.
Looks like Berggy was a healthy scratch for the Blues last night. Ice time was coming down as they got guys back. I thought he might actual turn a corner there for a second after his hot start when joining the Blues.
Every team in the league has given up more than 100 goals this year…except Colorado who hasn’t even given up 90. 9-0-1 in their last 10 and haven’t lost in regulation at home all year. Absolutely nutty.
Regardless of the outcomes of tonight’s games the Red Wings will remain the Atlantic division leaders.
One of the things I’m responsible for at work, much to my chagrin, is monitoring the water/ice conditions for a city park.

This year we actually might have some ice instead of a duck pond
Let’s beat the Jets so bad tomorrow that Kyle Connor and Connor Hellebuyck are begging to come home
I hope tomorrow they let Kane take the face off against toews, I know Kane will loose but it would be fun
Ive barely worked in the last month due to Alaska being in the deep freeze. Looking like at least another week of it. Red Wings hockey is the only thing keeping me going at this point.

Ottawa dropping a game to the bottom of the East Blue Jackets is pretty nice. Definitely 2 points they probably should have had
Alex Lyon with the .906 sv% for his buffalo sabres is looking pretty good right now
Imagine going into the new year with 50+ points on the season

NGL these doomsday trailers are hitting so far. I’m pretty excited for the next one (I’m aware it’s already out on the internet).
Lmao apparently Matthew’s is a game time decision because of that shot block from Larkin. Compare that to the bomb that Ed took and he stays in game to go on to score gwg. No compete in Toronto
Wonder if the Wings consider taking a flyer on Ethan MacKenzie in the 2026 draft. He is 19 right now, a left shot, playing meaningful minutes for Canada at WJC, and is playing really well in the WHL this year – essentially a late bloomer. He will be 20 at the start of next season and is committed to NoDak next year. Being 20 already, provides Detroit with the possibility that he can be an impact player closer to Detroit’s window over a 17–18-year-old, as soon as the 2027-2028 season (as a 21 year old).
