Thankful he’s no longer our problem

  1. Dude was a ticking time bomb and our fanbase swore up and down that he was great guy, and salty Buffalo fans were crazy.

Thank god it didn’t happen while here, and all 8 games cost us was a 2nd and 30+ million.

  2. This happened December 2nd and he’s still been playing, do we think this changes things?

  3. If he is out, should we end up playing the Patriots in the playoffs, due to this I feel like not only did we dodge a bullet, but let an adversary take it for us. Win-win!

  4. Don’t forget he had an incident in the summer he was traded to us, over a PS5 if memory serves correctly, and it all got swept under the rug.

  5. Although the character concerns have obviously been raised in the past, he’s still innocent until proven guilty. It’s a little disappointing to see everyone jumping to conclusions without really knowing anything about the situation. Obviously if he is actually guilty then fuck him, but need to wait and see. From purely football perspective, this would obviously weaken the pats who already lost Mack Hollins (may not seem big but he was actually performing for them) and boutte/douglas have been dealing with injuries too. If this turns out to be legit and the pats are forced to play without him, our defense will be in an even better spot should we end up facing them.

  6. Caserio was aggressive to trade for him, and must have known that in free agency a team would give him a lot more money than he was willing to. It was bizarre that he got a huge deal coming off a torn ACL but it shows how weak the free agent WR class was. Higgins stayed in Cincy. Diggs is a loose cannon. We shouldn’t have burned a 2 on him. But now he’s their problem not ours. He should be suspended

  7. I will let the courts clear this up but if true dude let his base instincts ruin what was probably going to be a playoff run and at least one more decent contract.

  8. To be clear, I’m just saying I’m glad the drama around him isn’t our problem. Not commenting on guilt or innocence.

  9. Vikings warned the Bills, Bills found out the hard way. Bills warned the texans, Texans locker room probably found out the hard way and didnt re-sign him. Now the Patriots are finding out lol

  10. And I thought it was a bad thing that the Texans got rid of him. Remember these are alleged charges as of now. He is not innocent or guilty yet.

  11. I don’t think he would have been like this around positive examples. While in Houston, he was calm. He goes to NE and all of a sudden he’s a problem?? I don’t buy it. NE might be good at their record, but they might have a bad locker room

  12. If I had a nickel for every big name player that turns into a psychopath after leaving the Texans I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

  13. Trading him and getting Jefferson with the pick was arguably Spielmans best move here. Sentiment in Minnesota is the same. Got out on Diggs right on time.

  14. Exactly. Even though there was a huge contingent of people on here that were pissed that we didn’t to break off 30+ yr old receiver who has always been a head case with a big multi year deal…
