19. They are idiots if they don't keep Cousins for another year, allow Penix an entire season to rehab and learn, and draft or sign free agents to shore up the support. They have really good defense and skill positions, excellent coach; they may have a window next year, considering the NFC South isn't too loaded. It seems the Falcons have been right on the edge of success for the last few years. It will be time to put up or shut up soon.

23. Yes, with a guy like pennix who is injury prone, you must have a really good backup like cousins who also is injury prone due to age. The issue is cost, will he take far less money to live in atl with his fams, not get hit every week , still make even more money. 28. They can and they will coast in the middle again. They don't have a franchise qb and don't even have their first round pick this year. Penix isn't terrible but he gets injured way too often to be reliable. If they were smart they would let Cousins go and bring in someone like Willis or Jones to compete for the starting job like the Colts did this year with Jones and Richardson.
    *when I say Jones, I mean Mac Jones.

29. I think theres a number of routes you could go, kirk has shown he can win. But, hes only getting older. If you cut him, you get money to build with but you have to sign or draft a place holder qb until penix comes back. Imo, i would let him go, pick up Malik Willis and either a NT or wr2.

30. The Penix pick is what doomed the team for the last two years and maybe more, it screwed over Cousins, Penix, and the team. Whoever made that pick should be gone.

37. In the games Penix played well in the team loss because of special teams or the defense. Tell me why Bijan and Tyler were the entire offense last night and Drake and Kyle weren’t involved at all? Are they scared to let Kirk throw?
