2. There's a good chance that if the Falcons had hired Belichik they wouldn't have Cousins or Penix and ended up with JJ McCarthy instead. After the National Championship a lot of people thought McCarthy would get drafted ahead of Penix. As a Falcons fan I can at least say I'm glad that didn't happen. Also there's a good chance they wouldn't have ended up with Xavier Watts or Billy Bowman in this last draft and those looked like great picks. They definitely wouldn't have gotten Watts because he was part of that trade with the Rams.

3. Belichick is a burnt-out has-been. And FWIW, no matter who the Falcons hire, they will ruin him.

4. Bill Belichick isn’t that great of a coach. Tom Brady was the real coach responsible for those 6 rings. How did he do after Brady left? Get rid of McKay then you can start fixing things!
