Ken Rosenthal GOES OFF Tatsuya Imai’s WORST Decision! SHOCKING White Sox BOMBSHELL!

Tatsuya Imai said he wanted to beat the Dodgers. He said he wanted to compete against Ohtani and Yamamoto, not play with them.

Then he signed with the Chicago White Sox.

The team that lost 121 games last season. The worst record in modern baseball history. The franchise that couldn’t beat anyone, let alone the defending World Series champions.

Imai is a 27-year-old right-hander who posted a 1.92 ERA over 163 innings for the Seibu Lions in NPB. Legitimate stuff. Every team in baseball had a chance to sign him before his posting window closed Friday at 5 PM ET.

The Yankees passed. The Mets passed. The contenders weren’t interested.

The White Sox were.

This is the same franchise that just signed Munetaka Murakami two weeks ago. Two Japanese players who were supposed to end up somewhere competitive. Both ended up in Chicago.

The Dodgers have Ohtani, Yamamoto, Sasaki, Betts, and Freeman. They just won the World Series. They’re building a dynasty.

The White Sox are building… something else.

Imai wanted to compete against the best. Now he gets to watch them win championships from 30 games out of the playoff race.

Good luck beating the Dodgers, Tatsuya.

You’re going to need it.
