Really interesting QB class. Clear top 3 with them in a 1A, 1B, 1C situation imo. I could hear arguments for all three being the top QB of this class.
A.) Ward was in the toughest situation. In season coaching turnover and a bad WR room. No question one of if not the worst offensive roster in the NFL. I thought he showed enough this year to make me think he has potential to be a good to great starter. If they can land Tate with their 1st that’d be a home run pick. I know it’s cliche but I do see a lot of Steve McNair in Ward’s game, but even better passing potential.
B.) Dart has that it factor to him and showcased superstar potential very briefly. He needs to learn to stay healthy and be more consistent but I can’t wait to see what he can do playing a full season with a healthy Nabers. What impressed me the most was the way he was seeing the field under center. I didn’t think he would have good field awareness at all as a rookie coming from that Lane Kiffin spread offense.
C.) Shough has been the most impressive as a rookie. Really nice arm, him and Olave have a good connection. That Johnson guy at TE is solid too. With Moore calling the plays and them drafting more OL and receiving help I think Shough will be a very productive pro and get the Saints into the playoffs sooner than later.
I didn’t really take the saints seriously. Is shough a real thing? I watched zero film on him.
Yall hate Shedeur way too much. Sure he’s not as good as those 1st and 2nd round guys, but he’s better than the average 5th round QB for sure. Going to be in the league for a while as a backup/journey man role.
Shit if Shough started all games this season he’d be already over 4k yards.
Dart is doing this against the hardest schedule in the league with legit no one around him btw
