How would you guys feel about Stefanski as the next HC of the Giants. He did a lot with the Browns, I would be interested to see what he could do with Dart and also how the defense could look with the DC he brings in.

  1. I like him. Sprung some life into the franchise after being a laughing stock with some playoff appearances and got a lot out of the QBs he coached (with one major exception). Definitely pin a lot of their recent issues on poor front office decisions. Plus if he brings Jim Schwartz with him even better

  2. IMO he’d instantly become their top choice. And given some of the rumored names, he’d probably be my first choice too.

  3. 7-26 in the last two seasons there. It would really be something to hire a guy with that recent track record. Maybe he’s a good coach but I would prefer to let some other team take that risk.

  4. 1. Really good offensive mind
    2. Coaching experience
    3. Would be awesome for Darts development imo
    4. His scheme fits dart like a glove imo. Wide zone running/playaction passing(wide zone is a variation of some offense Kyle Shanahan runs).

  5. We still don’t know the full list of available head coaches. John Harbaugh or Tomlin may be available as well.

  6. Please make this happen. Browns are the way they are bc they are the browns. Good coach

  7. He can do the same thing he did in Cleveland that he did with us. Turn us from laughing stock to something decent.

  8. For OC, def check him out. As coach? I don’t know about that one. The Browns are the Browns so you can’t blame him for everything going on there but this is one I would have to stew on a little bit.

  9. Sounds like he could be a good fit but I’m a little hesitant on bringing on someone from another loser franchise lol. Would much rather us bring in someone who’s had the results winning and with some positive playoff experience. We need to build a winning culture.

  10. Same shit with shurmur don’t hire a coach that has a terrible losing record his previous tenure.

  11. I see a lot of “the browns are the browns” comments. We are very closer to the Browns than a lot of us thinks. Stefanski winning 7 games the last two seasons should give us pause since we only won 6 games

  12. No. This used to be a franchise where things mattered. If he wants to be in the running for an offensive coordinator position that’s fine. He is not and should not be considered as a head coach for the New York football Giants. Not today, not tomorrow… not ever.

  13. I’d be fine with him. Seems like a lot of issues with that team are personnel and front office related, in particular with the Watson trade+contract holding them back so much. At the same time, I have a little hesitancy because you have to think he at least signed off on it or gave the OK for the front office to make such a move. Then again it is Cleveland and they always find a way to make a mess so who knows? The last 2 seasons overall are hard to completely ignore, but I think he showed enough his first 4 to at least give some confidence that he can be a good HC. I think he’s definitely closer to the “37 wins in 4 years including 2 playoff appearances and a playoff win” coach we saw from 2020-2023 than he is to the “7 wins over 2 seasons presiding over a dumpster fire” we saw 2024-25.

I’m still leaning towards Shula or Kubiak, but I wont be mad if we get Stefanski.

  14. Yall want a coach who obviously does whatever the owner says despite how negatively affects the team…yall wanna kepp Charlie too? We need a winner..a proven track record, not awards and losing records

  15. He should be choice #1. I know he’s not the perfect coach, but he’s a victim of horrendous upper management making boneheaded decisions.

  16. If Schoen and Stefanski are what we’re going with why would we expect anything different?

  17. He’s the best option for the Giants but ownership is so out of it they’re going to choose on someone that has no experience or has a sketchy past like klingsbury, that man cannot coach

  18. At this point, better to go with someone with experience instead of new or you become the jets

  19. Whether it was his final decision or not, Stefanski was the coach for the regime that ran Baker out of Cleveland, and look how that has aged. Not sure I want that guy at the helm with our young qb. We have been about equal in mediocrity with the Browns the past decade, but moving on from Baker to Watson has been one of the dumbest moves an organization has ever made. He may have a good offensive mind, but him + Schoen + our ownership just feels like bad roster decisions dying to happen.

  20. I’d totally be down for Stefanski.

He’s credible. That place is known for its dysfunction and he made it watchable with very questionable pieces.

And is someone you can trust a young QB with.

He’s had… 14 starting QBs in 6 years? That W/L is better than it should be.

McCarthy has pelts on the wall, but I feel like the ceiling AND floor are higher with KS.

  21. I frequent the browns subreddit because I am interested in Shedeur. They say the same shit about Stefanski that we say said about Daboll. Some want to keep him but they generally want him fired.
