Spurs biggest threat has been their guards over Wemby imo
Damn, was hoping we rested Mitch yesterday so he could lay the smack down v Wemby tomorrow. I’m shocked the spread is only SAS -2 given the injuries.
I wish we had more clarity on what’s going on with mitchs ankle. Like does it just get sore randomly and he doesn’t play unless it feels 100%? Does he need another surgery eventually?
Considering Mitch went on the road trip it’s a little weird he ends up missing 2 out of the 3 games. I’m going to the game on Friday so I hope he plays then, but with it being a B2B anyway at this rate I’m expecting 3 straight Mitch-less games.
With Mitch you never really know, he can be fine and then suddenly miss a ton of games without any major moment on the court happening. Hopefully it’s just ultimate precaution, and the truth is it’s going to be tough to beat San Antonio tomorrow no matter what, so it is what it is. The main thing that matters is he’s healthy for the playoffs and if that means he misses a few games in a row from time-to-time so be it.
It’ll be tough but this team has shown us night after night that they’re going out fighting.

Is there a timetable on shamet’s injury & return? I know that he’s had issues with that shoulder, but he’s a valuable asset of the bench for us and has proved himself more than once

I dunno how tf we’re gonna do that against the Spurs when we struggled to do it against NOLA.
