I can only watch snippets of the game due to work and it looks pretty atrocious… How worried should I be about this?

  1. Guess this is just timberwolves basketball

Another Ant is not walking through the door anytime soon, it’s time for Connelly to earn his contract and save this situation from spiraling completely out of hand

  2. I would say pretty worried. Twice in a week he’s started to show some symptoms of a real issue in that locker room.

  3. But people told me the “I guess this is just timberwolves basketball” quote wasn’t a bad thing lol.

  4. Are you guys actually enjoying watching the team this year? They’ve clearly lost whatever dawg mentality they were credited with and look like its a burden earning their paycheck every game (Jaden casually jogging back on D.) Give me a coach that can light a fire under this team like Malone cuz its getting worse.

  5. Not worried – Ant knows this is his team. TC and Finch ignoring him would lead us down a very very dark path. It’s not a matter of whether a trade will happen. It’s more so about who will be involved and how big of a swing we’re taking to shake things up.

  6. Blow it up. Even if we trade down a bit, we need to make real, genuine change.

Randle and Donte absolutely must go. I want Finch out too

  7. Why have vibes been so absolutely atrocious since Christmas? Do the players know something we don’t?
Terrible body language, weird cryptic quotes from Naz, Ant, and Jaden, inability to get any momentum to start games

  8. Time for a change. That’s what that means. Ant has been patient and as gracious as a superstar can be expected to be. He worked his ass off this summer and came back a top 5 player in the NBA. Others didn’t raise their game or professionalism and he’s right to be frustrated.

  9. With his gramps watching, finch has always been a Guangdong sharks level basketball coach.

  10. I don’t blame him. It’s exhausting watching DDV’s piss-pore performance night after night.

  11. May feel unsettling but people have to keep in mind that every young star in the league in history has gone through hardship before becoming a hardened leader. Jordan was a smiling, marketable exciting young star early in his career too but let downs in the playoffs made him ruthless.

I said after last game that the next step for Ant is becoming more of a vocal leader on this team and I think these displays are tough to see but also getting us to that point. As fans, we want a steady climb, it rarely works that way. There’s a lot of chops and changes over the course of a build. We’ve some, there will be more to come.

  12. Ant has made a leap as a scorer and yet somehow the team is worse because damn near nobody else can contribute. I’d be pissed off too

  13. We literally go through this cycle every season, we’ll win a couple big games and then everyone will be like “where are the finch haters now?” And then we’ll have some embarrassing losses and then the doomers come out again and say stuff has gotta change.

You’d think people would learn by now.

  14. Randle/Dillingham for Ja works contract wise. What else would have to be included by which side? I have no idea how to judge any of the 3’s trade value.

  15. Understandably upset. He only gets to play in front of his gramps so many times and just heard the backups are going in.

  16. I was at the game, truly lackluster performance from a number of guys. Donte and Bones both with 0 at the half on multiple open attempts.

The killer was ATL getting 14 extra shot attempts off before they put in the bench players. Terrible rebounding and no transition defense didn’t help either.
