We were 7 points away from being 10-6 so there’s a decent shot just having a decent kicker means we’re in the playoffs
I can excuse a team not having a backup plan if their star player gets hurt. It’s inexcusable how long they stuck with JD when it was clear he’s not an NFL level LB.
About as good as we’d be if we had competent Head COach and Offensive Coordinator.
The tone and feel of the defense is different with him in there if that makes sense. One of the best signings in the off-season period. Let’s keep him and Ellis paid please
We sorta see this with the the Steelers. They just aren’t the same without TJ Watt. Situations like these suggest either a weak point in either scheming and/or roster construction
If we have Zane Gonzales from the beginning, and DD stays healthy the entire season, we beat the Bucs week 1, and probably look better against the Panthers. Jets loss is also very different. Those missed kicks short circuited the team.
I don’t want to absolve the coaching staff but we definitely missed him. The drop off to his backup was steep and one of Terry’s biggest mistakes this year.
