Just reliving this epic turnaround moment in our season that really set the tone for the rest of the stretch.

TBH the jags have also had a pretty big year and they’re the only squad in the AFC that gives me pause. Watching this again to keep building the insane hype this Texans team has given us and keep the faith that we can take it all the way to the big game.

  1. If we can make a deep playoff run that Mills 4th quarter will be one of the better moments in Texans history

Also every team in the AFC gives me pause lol. The offense is too anemic, these playoff games will all be close more than likely and all it takes is a bounce or two going the wrong way to lose a close one

  2. People forget how unlucky this game started and with such bad momentum.

3-0 off an int staring at HOU 43
10-0 off a muffed kickoff starting at HOU 19
JAX starts with normal field position > PUNT
17-0 off 73 yard punt returns for TD
20-3 after normal field position stalls at HOU 34
23-10 after normal field position stalls at HOU 15
29-10 after int stating at JAX 42.

So one touchdown off of good field position from an interception, one touchdown directly from special teams, one touchdown from a special teams turnover in the red zone.
The also stalled out for field goals three times.

Just as rough a start as you could draw up. Not something they can count on. They only scored 17 in the first game.

  3. I don’t see this as a turn around, and I’m not sure how it could be considered one other than it being the beginning of a winning streak. This was just as much the Jags deciding to lose the game as it was us mounting a come back. Don’t get me wrong, we took advantage of mistakes the Jags made and won, which is great.

Our defense has stayed phenomenal since that game and our offense is still the inconsistent enigma that has a really good chance of letting us down in the playoffs. This is the one year the Texans actually have a great chance at making it to the championship, maybe even the super bowl. It really depends on our offense being able to stay consistent or just our defense never faltering for an instant.
