Kind of what I expected after he retired. When you get down to it, the professional athlete life is hard, so I respect him recognizing what his priorities are

  1. That’s kind of wild. Not knocking his choice, but this means he basically earned no money in the majors and that fucking blows, especially while starting a family. I know he said this doesn’t rule out returning but idk mang. All the best.

  2. Damn. Good luck, Fraser. Was hoping we’d get to see him a little more this year than last year

  3. he made 750k last year as a lefty reliever. good luck ever getting close to that in the real world. he’ll be back by the all star break.

  4. Never gonna give a guy a hard time about wanting to be more present in his kids life.

  5. Don’t know why we are having a conversation about this. Guy retired because he wasn’t good enough and didn’t have the heart into it probably. Can’t knock him for that. And no one cannot retire after getting paid like $700k.
