  1. Don't get too excited the Jets were playing a goalie who would be cut by most teams in the ECHL. The Jets are for some reason loyal to players who can't play.

  2. I will say, the 4th goal is absolutely on Woll. 2nd one he MAY want back. 4th one? Glove in the net, stuck in the butterfly & moves off the post, revealing a chunk of unprotected net. That wasn't good positioning.

  3. On the play where Woll's glove is in the net, it's because he missed the post with his pad when he slid back to it. Simple mistake, but if he had done that correctly, it probably would've been a routine save. Mistakes happen, but that one's on him.

  4. You know why Matthews had multiple 60 goals seasons? His linemates were skilled enough to retrieve the puck, allowing him to get lost up high rather than having to play down low all the time. That is how he scored with that release of his. Joining the play late and just placing it perfectly. Yes he can't always play up high, but you need linemates that can do the work down low and find him coming in from the blue line. Knies and Mitch were fantastic at that. Domi and McMann are finally doing a bit of that. Stop asking one of the best pure shooters in the game to tip goals around the net, that's wasted potential.

  5. I wish Meyers could play smarter in his own end. I like his shit, he uses it and it usually goes through. In his own end he seems to wonder around like the scarecrow.
