Mika

  • “It’s hard to grasp the whole day…but, great 12, 16 hours. It’s been a fun day.”
  • “The pucks went in…The chances and the passes that I got, I don’t know what else to do other than to shoot. Luckily it went in.”
  • They talked about having a fresh start, and spent a few days with their families leading up to the game and then were able to focus on the game once it was time.
  • They can carry the momentum forward by paying the same way.
  • He has no theories as to why they Rangers have so much success in outdoor games.
  • Laf “has unbelievable skill.” Bread made a “great play” on his first goal.
  • “We have amazing support wherever we go…it hasn’t, maybe, been pretty and easy for us this year, but it’s nice to…able to share that with our fans.”

Bread

  • “We played the way we wanted to play…hoepfully in the future we play the same way.”
  • On Trocheck’s pass while sliding: “It really looked nice, but it could have been the other way.”
  • Fox is a very skilled power play. He has good input on the power play. It’s better to have him on the power play.
  • He thanks all the fans.

Sully

  • Mika is one of their “core players.” They lean on him defensively and offensively. He is “one of the more cerebral players” on the team. He’s “the type of player that can will” the team to win.
  • “It was an incredible atmosphere…The enthusiasm is infectious."
  • “There’s so much parity in the league.” There are only a few points separating teams, and every point is important to get into the playoffs. They talked to the players about making sure they were focused on the game and getting a win. They competed hard.
  • When the “top players” end up on the scoresheet “the way they did,” it puts the team in a better position to win. The top players were the top players in the game.
  • The three goal is a “scary lead in today’s game.” It’s human nature to back off with that kind of lead, and they have to “battle against human nature” to not sit back. He liked how they played after the Panthers scored on the power play because momentum could’ve swung the other way.
  • Bread “had a good night with his decision making” and "execution."
  • It’s easier to “sell the message of simplicity” when they’re playing on the road, and “there’s value in simplicity.”

  1. Amazing photos. Love to see how much fun they had stomping out the Panthers. Smiling ear to ear after that belt to ass

  2. These jerseys are among the best Rangers jerseys ever. Honestly prefer this to the standard white aways. I hope they get used more than just this one game.
