  2. Can't stand the Lightning… but the fact that we get some absolute bs nothingness like this for 10 mins every single time a "star" takes a CLEAN hit is just garbage hockey. Anybody that thinks 5 minute bear hugs and headlocks is more exciting than the flow of an ACTUAL hockey game being played is just a casual, a literal passerby that shouldn't have a valid opinion on the matter to begin with. This needs to start being not only penalized heavy, but players need to start taking fines for killing the flow of the game due to clean hits. This bear hug bs is happening way too often now over perfectly legal play. It needs to end.

  20. So gay how the Department Of Player Safety and NHL ruined line brawls by ruling them out of the game. Could have had one here, but NOPE. Modern NHL is too play doe soft and lame for that kinda stuff these days.

  21. Anyone see Moser's visor? Interesting if there's a chip from play (or that scrum) because some guys will leave chips in visors to wreck a guys hands punching them from hitting their visor in a jagged area.. league should give penalties for "wearing defective equipment", as this is incredibly dangerous for a broken/cut hand. I like this budding rivalry, could be a potential Stanley Cup matchup in a couple years ;-o

  28. Tampa has become the nastiest team in the NHL. Cooper calls up goons from the AHL to do the dirty work. He sacrifices them so he doesn't have to worry about his NHL players getting hurt.

    What Don Cherry said in the 80s still rings true in 2026, when players drop the gloves there's no one who leaves to get a hot dog. The stands and fans come alive when there's a fight.
