    Going into tonight Michael Brandsegg-Nygård (1st round’24) is riding a 6 game pt streak in which he has 7pts 3G 4A.

    The gap between AHL pace of play and NHL is pretty significant. In terms of getting to pucks and keeping up with the play he’s good. Still needs to make reads quicker with the puck if he’s not shooting and looking to make a pass. But that’s not really his game.

    Do you think he is ready for another call up? Or a full season of GR is best? @abertuzz14963

    Doesn’t hurt to keep him down there. He’s playing really well in the role he’s given. Still needs to win a few more battles on average and I’d like to see a little more playmaking. But he’s physical and he’s producing… I think the wings just let him cook down there.
