Danielson is kinda in a weird spot, i watched the game yesterday and while he doesnt look bad i dont really see a pop from him either. Its not hard to imagine how it would have been better for him to be the 1C on a loaded AHL team and put up point per game pace together with MBN.
Do they really not see a point in trying to develop his offensive game more?
only Brady Tkachuk could get sucker punched and still be the one mostly in the wrong, what a guy lol. somehow Leafs fans seem to be one of the more reasonable fanbases in the Atlantic this season, at least relative to Ottawa/Florida (defending their dirty plays constantly) and Montreal (just generally never shutting the fuck up about Hutson and Demidov)
I was impressed with how the USNDTP kept up with Michigan last night. They came back from 4 to 1 and almost tied it up in the third before an empty net against, 7-5. Shots were even.
Detroit needs a 5on5 scoring boost. With the rumors of Faulk from STL being a target, I wonder if Detroit could put a package together and get Faulk+Kyrou without having to give up too much in return. Start with Al Jo/Gus+Kasper+solid pick+young prospect for Faulk’s full contract + Kyrou? And see how much of Kyrou’s contract they’d be willing to retain since that’s the one with term on it, we’d be doing them a favor by eating the whole Faulk contract.
