We aren't ready to compete!
Joel trolling the NY crowd at full-time is hard to take. Knicks didn't look likely the whole game. SMOKED.
Unacceptable performance Iโm ๐ก ๐ค ๐
76ers are better this year.
I hope Leon has a trick up his sleeve.( Even though this is the second time Philly got us on the back to back)
Need another defensive big and we will be good
Poor Knicks, had a parade raised a trophy, have the most wins, and now they have to realize theyโre not the best team. Hahaha Go Sixers! 2-0
Where's Monica? That's the problem. LOL
Alan Hahn is bad luck for the telecast they lose every time he calls a game
We havenโt forgotten that playoff series with the Knicks beat the Sixers because of a one legged Joel Embiid I.want payback and if this Sixers team is healthy going to the playoffs. I hope we faced Knicks and this time theyโre in trouble because they canโt the Sixers backcourt at all.
Knicks havenโt been the same since Christmas!
Everytime bench players have a solid game Knicks fans trash Thibs for not playing them, anoint them the next coming. Koleck has come back to reality so has Diaware. Knicks not as scary in the East as so many thought. Let alone with the West elite.
KNICKS, DON'T PLAY ANY DEFENSE, WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS ๐๐ฑ๐ซธ๐ฟ๐๐พ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐คฎ๐ ๐ก๐ณ
Sixers are STACKED smh
The Knicks had too much pride to hang that banner, they are going to look dumb as hell if they try to, after getting bounced early in the playoffs
The knicks need another defensive wing. We don't defend the three at all
Knicks are in a nba cup championship hangover ๐๐๐๐ and Brunson is still feeling violated by hart๐๐๐
Not only have they not found that killer instinct they have seem to have misplaced their Identity!!!! Back-to-Back L's from sup par teams!! Somebody gotta lot of explaining to do!!!
Who is the best guard? Maxey, Cade, or Brunson?
Knicks lack team speed, interior defense, and chemistry.
The Knicks have to get it together
The Knicks struggled defending the paint because they were unable to control players driving to the basket, specifically due to dribble penetration (1:07–1:13). This issue has been a significant problem, and it allowed the 76ers to score 22 points in the paint in just the first quarter (3:40–3:43). To counter this, the Knicks tried to take the paint away, which then opened up outside shots for the Sixers (3:56–4:01), creating a "pick your poison" scenario (4:03–4:05). This is the sixth straight game (3:19–3:21) that the Knicks' opponent has scored at least 50 points in the paint (3:21–3:23).The game shifted in the early second quarter (8:40–8:42) when Jaylen Brunson was on the bench and Karl-Anthony Towns was the feature player (8:42–8:46). Towns became frustrated because the game wasn't being called to his liking, and a lot of fouls were being let go (8:46–8:53). This frustration led to the Knicks losing points, and they spent the rest of the game chasing the scoreboard (8:53–9:01).The Sixers felt the game was personal because they were "on a mission to show that they're going to be a factor in the Eastern Conference battle" (0:49–0:56) and they "wanted to make a statement tonight" (4:16–4:19). This was especially true as they had all their key players back from injury (4:14–4:16). They also "sent a message to the Knicks that they're going to have to get better if they want to… continue to hold on to being the favorites in the East" (4:46–4:54). Additionally, the Sixers had already beaten the Knicks twice on their home floor this season (3:13–3:15).Losing streak: They have lost three games in a row, which is new territory for them this season (16:01–16:03).
Adversity: The team is experiencing a period of adversity that they are not used to (16:06–16:08).
Missing key players: They have been playing without key players like Josh Hart (14:56–14:59) and Landry (18:00–18:04), which impacts their pace and offensive flow.
Lack of physicality on defense: The coach notes that the team is not as physical as they should be at the point of attack defensively, struggling to navigate ball screens, and committing too many fouls (17:13–17:37).
Stagnant offense: The offensive pace is not good, with the team often walking the ball up the court. They are not consistently spacing the floor, making quick decisions, touching the paint, or reversing the ball (18:07–18:43). The offense often gets "dead in the water" if the initial front-side actions don't work (18:49–18:54).
Not blaming officials: The coach emphasizes that while officials are human and make calls, the team cannot rely on them to win games and needs to focus on their own performance (19:15–19:22, 19:55–20:01)https://youtu.be/BoEKWtgJQAU?si=m9AD69ABGDkeYAG2
Sixers fan here, as good as Brunson is, Maxey is better.
The Knicks have to start looking at the reality of this team. We are not a championship team yet. We are missing some important pieces, and hopefully LR will find those pieces in the coming weeks.
This game was actually winnable in the fourth quarter, but Kolek missed 3 important shots that could have but us ahead. Clarkson gave us nothing, and Bridges has to give us more.
Sure, the rookies are promising, but theyโre not there yet.
VJ looks like heโll be the face of the league in a few years. The Sixers got so lucky to land him
Weak D and inconsistent scoring from players like Clarkson and Bridges.
Trades has to come the way the Knicks are playing right now otherwise they are going nowhere especially in the playoffs look like they are going down in the 1 round
Never thought I'd see an energizer like a I again on philadelphia, but there he goes.
Brunson dont have the fundamentals..all he knows is to score…if played physical he flops cuz its to his advantage. Learn to get others involved first then your shots should come easier…But to me he still Bootleg…..
This is 4 straight years of brunson hogging the ball and not distributing it properly. And good teams figuring him out. You're not gonna win with that isolation approach to The Game.
Knicks are playing good when diawara start in the staring 5 blame on coach brown for all 3 losses heโs screwed up
