  1. 01:39 As a card carrying, died in the wool, California native and lifelong Sharks fan, I am really looking forward to watching MC win the SILVER medal behind Team USA at the olympics. Nuff said….

  2. He's very down the earth and well-spoken guy. And generational player no doubt about that. Excitement i get watching him play its very similar to one i had when i was watching young Sid.

  3. I like the Celebrini selection… Great 200 foot player (197 ft in Italy) … Great play maker and scoring touch… Near the top of the NHL in takeaways and offensive zone entries… BUT BUT BUT…

Such a young guy… I'd prefer one of the more veteran centers got shifted to wing… I know he played wing alongside Sid at the World Championships..

Still, I'd prefer to see him playing his natural position, likely as Canada's 4th line center…

Nothing wrong with having a 4th line, of 200 foot guys, maybe alongside Horvath, and Wilson who can skate, bang, defend well AND SCORE…

Canada rolled 4 lines, with short shifts, at the 2014 Olympics… and it worked to perfection…

Dominating possession, shots, game in, game out… and wearing the opposition out by the 3rd period…

I'd like to see something similar this year… rather than seeing a young guy, a la Mike Richards at the 2014 Olympics, playing out of position…

But my guess is Celebrini plays wing, and the bottom 6 guys get considerably less ice time…

Not sure who the healthy scratches or starter will be… but that will be interesting too…

    PEACE OUT

  4. Kids is freakin amazing. I’m an islander fan but he’s one of my favorite players right now. He deserves to be on the team and he’s good for a goal almost every night on my fan dual lol

  5. this guy has 62 points (22g 40a) and #2 on his team has 29 points. he has 11 more assists than anyone has POINTS. and oh also 10 more goals than anyone has goals. that's the definition of MVP.

  6. I’m like a proud parent for Macklin! His parents did such an incredible job raising him with love and humility. He is and going to continue be one of the greatest hockey players ever, but more importantly he is genuinely a good human being.

  7. I recognize the shades of the past that people like McDavid and Bedard instill in fans, and why they think of them as potential future greats. When I see Mack I see the same spark as Sid, Mario, and even Gordie. He's not just brilliant, he's a wildly beating heart. Someone who carries the torch for Hockey not just his team. I can't imagine rooting against him, and as a lifelong Red Wings fan I only hope we stay in opposite conferences and meet in future stanley cups. These interviews convince me awards and achievements will be a byproduct of his drive and not the other way around.

  8. HE IS A SLIGHTLY SLOWER THAN McDAVID BUT HE HAS GRETZKY’S VISION, LEMIEUX’S ACCURACY, AND STICK HANDLING ABILITY OF KOVALEV.

McDAVID SHOULD HAVE MACKLIN ON HIS LEFT WING AND CONNER BEDARD ON HIS RIGHT WING.

MacKINNON SHOULD HAVE CROSBY ON LEFT WING AND BRAYDON POINT ON RIGHT WING.
