The Giants’ 381 points in Jaxson Dart’s rookie season are the most they’ve scored in the 17-game era, the most points per game since Eli’s last full year as a starter (2018), and most points overall since Eli’s last Pro Bowl season (2015).

  1. Lol “the 17-game era”. Isn’t this like the 2nd season with 17?

Edit: Holy hell 5 seasons goes fast.

  2. Bummer of a season for sure. Although if anyone recalls the strength of schedule discussions from the beginning of the year… We literally had the hardest schedule in the league. 4 wins doesn’t seem like progress, but there are signs of improvement. Hell, we almost won many of these close losses.

  3. Still can’t believe we hung on to Bowen for as long as we did. That guy truly was a football terrorist!

  4. They need to nail the head coach and d coordinator. Our defense should not have been as bad as they were.

  5. This is why I laugh off anyone that acts like there hasn’t been improvement. This team was WAY better and more fun to watch than the previous 5-6 years.

Obviously we have a lot to improve on, but I legitimately think if we had a semi competent DC and Sauls kicking all year we’d have been at 7-9 wins. Still need to tighten up some weak links but we’re way closer than we were.

  6. But 20% of all those points came vs the cowboys in two games…a historically bad scoring defense.

  7. Please, let’s not start going to silver linings here. We were comically bad. Basically dropped our stock week by week, including our last two wins. I like the kid a lot but we got a LONG way to go

  8. Defensive collapses and big plays against us the two things that will change this team into real contenders.

  9. If we had had a kicker and a 4th quarter defence many games would be totally different!
