The statement said they are keeping Schoen not for his performance or Giants record, but because they need stability and continuity.
Obviously we saw yesterday that John Mara isn’t doing very well. The Giants clearly arnt interested in hiring a consulting firm like other teams, so they got boxed into not firing Schoen.
Its a long offseason and we might very well see a lot more ownership intrigue between now and September
