LeBron James and Steve Nash talk about players who took a leap this season in their “Mind The Game” podcast, and the last name they mentioned is Deni Avdija! LeBron really likes Deni, and he thinks the Wizards are “kicking themselves” for trading him away.

I think this might be Deni’s best week ever at this point lol
So awesome!
I’m really surprised they didn’t talk about his playmaking game, because I think this is one of the major leaps Deni did this season, so far.
They mainly focus on his shooting leap in comparison as a Wizards player, and the fact he is physical.
In hindsight the Wizards made a big mistake, it’s not easy to come by a franchise player.
One could imagine how much Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma, and even Russell Westbrook held Deni back in terms of development (maybe not Westbrook so much, because he was also Deni’s mentor)
We too are impressed
LeDeni
there are some similarities between Deni and Prime Lebron. so i can understand Lebron liking him. Tall playmakers who can get a rebound and immediately push the break. Id say Deni is better shooter. Prime Lebron was more physically dominant.
HeBron
This one guys emergence gives Portland so much flexibility in building out their team.
They no longer need a PG to run the offense. They can plug in 3D guys at that position or Dame to spread the floor and provide another ball handler that can run P/R.
Shae does the same, with the added athleticism.
Honestly I like him more than Luka because he plays hard on both ends the entire game.
When Lebron calls you a “physical driver to the rim” you’re doing something right.
