SB Nation On Ian Cunningham
“Cunningham was the first name we heard linked to the opening after it became clear the team would fire GM Terry Fontenot, which they did after their final game of the season on Sunday. Cunningham works closely with Bears GM Ryan Poles, who was college teammates with former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, a widely reported candidate for Atlanta’s new president of football position. All three of those franchises (Ravens, Eagles, Bears) have added significant talent during Cunningham’s stints, and he was interviewed in the last couple of cycles, though he ultimately didn’t land his first general manager gig.”

  1. If I were Kevin I wouldn’t want the Atlanta job. It’s a glorified Cleveland gig. No true #1 QB, solid defense with more to offer on offense minus another WR. He mismanaged the QB situation in CLE and I think he’ll do the same with Kirk, Penix and whatever QB they draft this year. Not a good fit for neither parties.

  2. The bears roster is not as talented as the Atlanta falcons roster so I don't understand how you say that he'd be a good fit here. Dallas players that you just called out haven't done much yet

  3. I wouldn't be frustrated with either him or klint Kubiak. This would be the best team Stefanski ever coached talent wise and its not particularly close, so I dont worry about the dysfunction part

  4. Stop contradicting yourself. You can't say the browns are dysfunctional and than go and say it is cause of stefanski not being the coach here. Atl is way better off than Cleveland is. Cleveland has absolutely nothing on offense
