[Schefter] Sources: Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities. Kingsbury and HC Dan Quinn met today, and agreed to mutually part ways.

  1. Teams that hire defensive HCs have to perpetually deal with their OCs constantly leaving for a bunch of reasons.

    This is why Josh McDaniels is the goat for enabling defensive HCs to succeed

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong, given the realistic options that are available to us. Wouldn’t the best case scenario be Stefanski comes in as our HC while Bringing over his defensive coordinator from Cleveland (long consistent track record of good defense.) and then hire Kliff to be our OC who has experience working with a mobile gun slinging QB similar to Jayden Daniels?

    Kingsbury is interesting due to his time w/ Kyler. So you wonder if they might reunite .. somewhere else.
