[Schefter] Sources: Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is leaving the organization to pursue other opportunities. Kingsbury and HC Dan Quinn met today, and agreed to mutually part ways.

1. What? He’s just leaving? This has to be a play to go back to college right?

2. As an OC yes please. If he’s looking to be a head coach then no way in hell.

3. Teams that hire defensive HCs have to perpetually deal with their OCs constantly leaving for a bunch of reasons.

   This is why Josh McDaniels is the goat for enabling defensive HCs to succeed

4. Correct me if I’m wrong, given the realistic options that are available to us. Wouldn’t the best case scenario be Stefanski comes in as our HC while Bringing over his defensive coordinator from Cleveland (long consistent track record of good defense.) and then hire Kliff to be our OC who has experience working with a mobile gun slinging QB similar to Jayden Daniels?

6. It blows my mind why teams keep giving Kingsbury chances. He wears out his welcome within 2 years every place he goes
