I know it may not have seemed like much, but it was the highest stress moment of his baseball life, and he had it in his mind to take that split second to look to a veteran for leadership rather than just going on instinct and getting that ball out. The fact that Shohei drilled a line drive into that EXACT spot an inning before to create the dent that would lodge this ball is one of my favorite one-in-a-million baseball moments… and it happened in a critical moment in the WS
