If the Tigers do this they’re a joke. If you can’t build around a player like Skubal you’re not building around anyone

Skubal to LA would be the trade that locks the league out for a long time.
That would be the type of move that gives a perfect argument against any lockout. If you’re not willing to pay the best pitcher in baseball then you shouldn’t benefit at all from trying to penny pinch. Hopefully they extend him
Tigers should look at LA’s recent trades and lack of developing great players since Will Smith came up and trade with another team if they choose to move a generational talent.

Probably a mlb ready pitcher, 2-3 pitchers and maybe throw in a non-pitching prospect.
I kinda expect a better haul than Soto from SD to NY, cause July is around the time teams are desperate for pitchers and he’s definitely the type to get you that much needed push. I just hope his trade isn’t screwed by the Pirates playing chicken with a potential Skenes trade.

If they trade him at the deadline they won’t get that much back.
I almoat want it to happen so the remaining pathetic cowardly fools that are the MLB fanbase can finally admit that yes the league is fundamentally anti-competion and has been to win since…forever.
