Trash.

There was no shortage of drama as the Anaheim Ducks faced the Philadelphia Flyers, and this one spiraled fast. Cutter Gauthier opened the scoring with his 20th goal of the season on the power play after a big hit and instigator penalty, but the Flyers responded with four straight goals — including two vintage one-timers from former Duck Trevor Zegras, who clearly had this game circled. Zegras’ phone-call celebration aimed at Pat Verbeek said it all, as Philadelphia pulled away in a physical, chaotic matchup. Despite the loss, Anaheim’s special teams were one of the few bright spots, killing seven of eight penalties and getting power-play goals from Gauthier and Alex Killorn. The game completely lost control with trash hits, fights, scrums, and questionable officiating, as the Ducks fell 5–2, dropped out of a playoff spot, and dealt with injury news and off-ice drama. The Ducks continue their East Coast road trip Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes. #nhl #hockey #anaheimducks #philadelphiaflyers #trevorzegras #cuttergauthier

  1. We are playing terribly yes but refs have been awful missing way to many calls for us and call every ticky tacky thing against us. Im in georgia and only watch games on TV so the guy on the broadcast might be swaying my opinion a little aka brain Hayward. Speaking of how did he seem more upset and ready to jack up some flyers player than our guys on the ice. Our young guys needs to start bucking up alot more they dont go in for hit nearly enough this is hockey you need to be ready to take guys out and even get taken out but they seem very soft at the moment. Especially leo he looks so timid I thought we drafted size for this exact reason. This season hurts way more cause of what they showed in the beginning of the season they looked ready to take a step like what is this i wish we just sucked from the get go. And Philly fans just showing why they are the worst fan base in all the major sports and why cutter was right to want to get the hell out of there. Thanks you for the videos and this channel as an out of state ducks fan not to many fan around to rant too so right now this is keeping me sane hahah. @duckmylife

  2. I dont mind Zegras scoring (twice), I dont mind the boo's from the crowd, I dont mind the physicality on the ice and I dont mind the loss, even though its 7 in a row now.
What I do mind is the way we lose, the cheap shots instead of commiting to actually trying to get a big hit. I do also mind the two-tiered refeereing (most obvious the no-call on Zellweger, and interference call on Leo), but then yet again it's the Ducks. I also don't like that nesty was waived but if it's the start of a trade, so be it. Next meeting between these clubs will be interesting, especially if Deslauriers is back as well.
