Johns own brother got to appointment a GM just last year and it’s worked out well.
He coached somewhere for 18 years and was unexpectedly fired. It’s not really surprising he might want to take a minute before interviewing for his next gig. He might even want to dig into his options and think about what to ask for.
Somebody better tell him that in addition to Burns, Dexy, Thomas, Malik, Dart, Carter, Cam, and the 5th pick, the Giants are the only franchise hiring that has easy access to Italian Hot Dogs and real Sloppy Joes.

Yesterday his agent said this was the most likely scenario.
He has gotten so many offers that they are probably trying to get everything scheduled in a manner that works best for him
