Personal note, my dad had successful heart surgery today. So I’m glad to have multiple things to be happy about tonight.
***25-26 Belt Tracker:***
– Easton Cowan: 2 (Game 4 vs Nashville, Game 12 @ Philadelphia)
– Max Domi: 2 (Game 10 vs Calgary, Game 36 vs Pittsburg)
– Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 1 (Game 27 @ Carolina)
– Dennis Hildeby: 2 (Game 25 @ Pittsburg, Game 29 vs Tampa Bay)
– Dakota Joshua: 1 (Game 32 vs Chicago)
– Scott Laughton: 1 (Game 26 @ Florida)
– Matias Maccelli: 2 (Game 14 vs Utah, Game 42 vs Florida)
– Auston Matthews: 3 (Game 13 vs Pittsburg, Game 37 vs Ottawa, Game 40 vs Winnipeg)
– Jake McCabe: 1 (Game 9 vs Buffalo)
– Morgan Rielly: 1 (Game 1 vs Montreal)
– Nick Robertson: 1 (Game 39 vs New Jersey)
– Anthony Stolarz: 1 (Game 5 vs NYR)
– John Tavares: 1 (Game 20 vs St. Louis)
– Joseph Woll: 1 (Game 23 @ Columbus )
I see a thigh grab in there…we are so back
Glad hes playing well and getting some points, but I really dont know where macelli fits on this team when nylander is healthy. Does he drop down to the third line thats been cooking? And who does he replace? I dont think you take out robertson as long as hes playing well, and you dont scratch Cowan for long periods and kill his development. There was always going to be a logjam up front when everyone’s healthy, Tre may need to make a move.
Mac-n-Cheese! Congrats to him!
Now this is a John Tavares smile
Good for him. He was noticeable for so much of the game.
I was searching on Getty for a photo of Matthews during the celebrations, and stumbled on this crazy shot of Maccelli jumping in front of the net.

Glad to see him playing well and contributingĀ
JT put the bullet proof vest on for the panthers.. good call
Great high speed and hard hitting game.
Thighs are being touched, and so is my heart
this warms my heart as a spiritual coyotes fan who has started following the leafs (i do not acknowlege utah’s existence)
He looked fantastic last night. That was the type of player I envisioned. Getting to pucks first, crisp passes, good vision.
His passes seem to be connecting more than earlier in the season.
I don’t know if it was entirely his fault, but his line mates used to fumble a ton of his passes like they didn’t know he was going to do that.
He’s playing well now, maybe just needed time to build synergy.
THIGH
Maccelli was giving McDavid last night. Whatever he ate as a pregame meal, he should repeat. š
Go leafs go!
I really hope Maccelli doesnt grow into a leaf lol
Post game belt shoulda gone to Marchand for picking the wrong team lol
Should have been Knies
