Is this jersey real or fake? It has weird rushed-looking stitching. I’m trying to get better at catching fakes but they look more convincing day by day 🙂↕️

I got a Rolex in Brazil a number of years back. From afar it looks real and It keeps the time just fine. I definitely don’t put off Rolex vibes and so almost every time I wear it people ask if it’s fake.
I tell them it’s a real watch.
Looks fine to me. Nobody cares if it’s “real”. Not sure what you’re looking for.
It’s not authentic from Magestic – original Magestic jerseys with this logo don’t have so many cross-stitch lines across letters on the front of the patch, they [separate letters to avoid that](https://customthrowbackjerseys.com/san-diego-padres-1990s-home-majestic-throwback-baseball-jersey/) or have connections on the back. But these older designs aren’t made anymore so you have to buy from one-off retailers who do their best to match the originals. If you like it, and it fits and feels good, go for it. No one is going to care if you are cheering the Padres on while wearing it, and you certainly won’t be alone in wearing a one-off Jersey.
I’ve only ever bought 2 REAL jerseys. Only one of them is superior to my 7 knockoffs.
If it’s low quality, then it’s authentic from fanatics. If it’s super nice and detailed it’s fake.
Russell manufactured MLB jerseys for most of the 90’s, but the ‘R’ logo on the sleeve looks funky. Majestic makes replicas from that era but it is strange to see both brands on one jersey, if the R is in fact meant to be a Russell logo. Overall not a bad look, but not authentic.
Real or fake, who gives a fuck. As long as you supporting the team, thats what matters. There tons of ppl with fake city connect jerseys (green sleeve instead of teal) and then all the custom ones like the black version of the city connect or one of my favorites is the one with the numbers and letters in zarape colors but at the end of the day, we all want the same thing. To see the Padres win
There’s actual legit check subs on Reddit. You can post this pic to find out but they are brutal
Definitely fake. The R is for Russell athletic who made the authentic jersey before Majestic took over the jersey production. Sorry
Fake. 2 different brands on 1 jersey and that D on the front is off.
Looks fake to me. The stitching looks off, like too rounded. I don’t think it should have the R on it at all. And is that a size large? Majestic authentics are numbered sizes. Size 48 size 52 etc.
Who cares? That jersey looks dope AF.
It’s very fake but actually looks a lot nicer than a lot of the brown and gold fakes
All but 1 of my 5 jerseys are “fake”. Nobody has ever asked me if they’re fake nor do I care. They fit fine, look fine, and for the price of 1 “real” jersey I can buy 4 “fakes” of different players, and different alts.
If it shows Gwynn on the back, it is real.
I’ll echo that if you are happy with it, it doesn’t matter. However, the fold in the patch and the blue lettering on the patch all being connected by a single string screams fake– not actually a patch but a bunch of stitching made to look like a patch.
