  1. Reiterating my plea for the Ilitch family to team up with Tom Gores and make their own network/playform/whatever. They already have or at least know all the on-air talent and the behind the scenes people to have one and we know the Ilitch family explored it before. Plus it probably wouldn’t have as much gambling/odds nonsense. I’ll happily pay $20-$30/month for a quality streaming service that is direct to consumer from the organization as opposed to being tied in with companies sponsoring/owning the service and paying the teams for the rights.

  5. Man it would suck if Fubo acquired the streaming rights. They already charge $90 a month, which is waaaay too expensive if you’re really just looking to watch the Red Wings and don’t use the subscription to watch other stuff. I don’t think they’re going to break hockey out into its own streaming service, either…

    I got rid of Hulu live TV because if the cost, certainly don’t want to go back to paying a provider 100$/month

  16. I paid for a year subscription of Fan Duel back in September. Will I get a partial refund from this sinking ship?

  17. I’m gonna cry if it gets more expensive. Like say what you will but Fan Duel worked streaming and was relatively inexpensive ($84 for the season).

    I can’t watch OTA because I get Ohio nonsense despite being in the Detroit market, so I can’t use ESPN either.

    So lame. Doomerism says there’s no chance they do something reasonable.

  20. Local (in state) sport team games should be free. The leagues should subsidies to help teams with this. Keep your national games as is.

  21. Y’all need to invest in quality internet and an eye pee tee vee service. I don’t miss games and watch wherever I happen to be. I can watch every teams games. In every sport. For $90USD every two years. Very minimal lag/delay. Totally worth it. Also includes every movie and TV show, something like 20,000 love channels across the world, porn, whatever you want to watch. Stop giving streaming companies money while they slide their greedy penises into your waiting anus.

  22. God damnit, Fan Duel via Amazon has been great for me and relatively cheap. I’ve even been able to finally watch games on the TV again instead of hunched over my computer.

    Putting aside the fact that I better get a fucking refund for paying for a full season, it’s back to the high seas for me.
