3rd catcher type, with 2 options years remaining. I have been waiting for a trade of one of the top 3 catchers this offseason.
He has played 19 games in the mlb over the last two years (only started in 15), with no minor league work. Was he always injured or something? Sounds like a glove first guy. he has minor league options left…
Makes sense. Lee is out of options and might not make it through waivers if they end up keeping Teel and Quero. They need someone to be that next man up waiting in Charlotte.
I’m okay with Lee going but I really hope we keep both Teel and Quero.
Likely just a depth move at best not sure if he could play OF in an emergency situation.
OOTP legend, hopefully he brings some of that charm to the White Sox irl
